A note on the timeline dating…
1935--INDIANA JONES AND THE TEMPLE OF DOOM--Indy, Short Round, and Willie Scott have an adventure in India. The club that Indiana escapes from in the beginning is named "Club Obi Wan"
Winter 1936—RAIDERS OF THE LOST ARK—The hieroglyphic inscriptions within the Well of Souls (location of the lost Ark of the Covenant, found by Professor Henry “Indiana” Jones Junior and Sallah) include depictions of R2-D2 and C-3PO, droids from the STAR WARS galaxy that existed a long time ago. When one travels from their galaxy to ours, they travel through worm holes that also send one through time. It is possible the droids at one time in our ancient past arrived on Earth. They do return to Earth in the 1970s, but it’s unknown which visit came first since the worm holes seem to be random on time displacement.

AUG 23 - MY SEANCE PROJECT - The Dover Mini Makers Faire is interrupted when Imperial Forces stranded in New England last March attempt to commandeer a quantum computer to create a rift back to their own point in space-time. An uncontrollable vortex is opened, and assorted Ghostbuster franchises are called to help, via N.E.G.A.T.E.; the Bay State Ghostbusters, Arkham Ghostbusters, and Real New England Ghostbusters all respond. Demonic forces from beyond animate a giant blue crab sculpture at the Children's Museum, which the Ghostbusters combat. Once the mess is cleared up, a trip to the other side is required in order to prevent the vortex from reopening. To this end, the Ghostbusters enlist the aid of many of the local inventors still present and construct a transport module that resembles a small yellow submarine. The rift is successfully closed, but the Imperial forces disappear, and it is unclear if they were pulled back to their own far away galaxy, or if they simply abandoned the fight while the Ghostbusters were distracted with the hyperspace vortex.
The Imperial Forces are elements of the STAR WARS franchise created by George Lucas, which began with the 1977 film STAR WARS (aka STAR WARS Episode 4: A NEW HOPE). The assorted Ghostbuster franchises and NEGATE (North East Ghostbusters Alliance: Taskforce Ecto) are derived from the 1984 film GHOSTBUSTERS and its associated spin-off merchandising, specifically the role-playing game GHOSTBUSTERS / GHOSTBUSTERS INTERNATIONAL published by West End Games from 1986 to 1989. The Yellow Submarine is inspired by the song YELLOW SUBMARINE by the Beatles in 1968.

The Future...
Late 21st century?--SPACE QUEST III: THE PIRATES OF PESTULON--Among the debris inside the garbage freighter there is a TIE fighter from Star Wars films.
Late 21st Century?--SOLDIER--In the beginning, Todd ends up on a planet with multiple suns.
2268--ISHMAEL--At the Wonder Bar at Starbase 12, Han Solo (STAR WARS) is present, fighting with Starbuck and Apollo (BATTLESTAR GALACTICA). They were fighting over Sarah Jane Smith, who then leaves with the Doctor (DOCTOR WHO). Solo is from another galaxy in the distant past. Starbuck and Apollo are from the 1970s on a journey from their home world to Earth. It's likely the Doctor is responsible for bringing them all here, and it's presumed he got them all home. Kirk makes a comment about Sherlock Holmes, his relationship to Spock. Two Hokas are also seen (EARTHMAN'S BURDEN). They are cute living teddy bears. The main portion involves Spock traveling back in time (not with the Doctor) and meeting the Stemples (HERE COME THE BRIDES). Other western characters encountered are from PALADIN/HAVE GUN, WILL TRAVEL, BONANZA and MAVERICK. There is also an appearance of Straus and Sons which comes from James Clavell's Asian Saga: SHOGUN, TAI-PAN, GAI-JIN, KING RAT, NOBLE HOUSE, WHIRLWIND, and ESCAPE.
23rd Century--TRIPPING THE RIFT--"Chode & Bobo's High School Reunion"--Chewbacco is up for King of the prom
24TH Century--STAR TREK: THE NEXT GENERATION--"Up the Long Ladder"--There is a reference for a ship making a "diplomatic mission to Alderaan" (a planet in the Star Wars universe)
24TH Century--STAR TREK: FIRST CONTACT--In the space battle with the Borg, the Millenium Falcon is visible in one shot, doing its part to fight the Borg.
26th Century--FIREFLY--From geekwithcurves.com: It turns out Han Solo in carbonite isn't the only appearance of Star Wars in Firefly. Though this isn't fresh news, it is news to me. My friend Eliot recently pointed out to me that a ship from the Star Wars Expanded Universe shows up in the Firefly episode Shindig. I love when my favorite sci-fi 'verses bleed into each other.
The Starlight Intruder (a Mobquet Medium Transport) is from the Dark Empire comics series. It was built by smugglers but eventually ended up in an Imperial impound. I prefer to think its final resting place was on Persephone owned by someone like Mal Reynolds.
This scene takes place just after the crew has landed on Persephone (duh), and you can see the ship prominently in the background as the camera pans down to the crew. It also apparently made an appearance in War Stories, but I haven't tracked down a screen shot just yet.
And that's not all.
In the pilot episode, look to the skies as Inara docks her shuttle. There appears to be an Imperial shuttle overhead. It is a really tiny image, but the shape looks unmistakable to me.
In the same vein, did you know that Serenity makes an appearance in the Battlestar Galactica miniseries?
Update:
Reader Adam Mitulinski pointed out to me that Serenity also makes an appearance in the Star Wars universe. Artist Tom Hodges included the Firefly class ship in the Evasive Action webcomic.
FUTURAMA (ANIMATED SERIES)
January 31,3008--FUTURAMA--"Beast with a Billion Backs"--Bender's Army of the Damned are actually parodies of the Gungans in Star Wars: The Phantom Menace.
Also on Earth-Prime, a toy of Vader comes to life in THE INDIAN IN THE CUPBOARD. Later, a life size model of Darth Vader at the Smithsonian temporarily comes to life in NIGHT AT THE MUSEUM: BATTLE OF THE SMITHSONIAN.

tA note on the timeline dating…
It is hard to get an exact understanding of when Star Wars takes place in relation to Earth time, so generally, most people relate Star Wars time around the Battle of Yavin, just as we on Earth relate time to the birth of Christ. Also note that the original Star Wars Expanded Universe, from the period of George Lucas's ownership of Star Wars, is considered part of the main TVCU canon, although the Star Wars galaxy itself may actually be an alternate universe or pocket realm. So the Disney owned version, with Episode 7 onward, is a divergent timeline, perhaps associated with the TVCU-2. However, when it works for both, the story or event should be considered part of both timelines. Only in the cases when the story only fits in one canon or the other do we really need to focus on that distinction.

32 years BBY--PHANTOM MENACE--Amonst the various races that appear as part of the Galactic Senate are the race that E.T. THE EXTRATERRESTRIAL comes from.
32 years BBY--KENTUCKY FRIED CHICKEN--Colonel Sanders, a driver for Pizza Hut, and the Taco Bell Chihuahua end up back in time and in another galaxy, where they have adventures.
32 years BBY--STAR WARS INFINITIES--Ivan Ronald Schablotski You may not wanna dwell on this tidbit too much, but Buzz Lightyear (presumably of Star Command) is seen eating at the same diner on Coruscant that Mace Windu and Master Yoda are sitting in when they discuss whether or not to let young Anikin Skywalker become a Jedi. I'm pretty certain this was in the same issue of STAR WARS INFINITIES that had the Solo / Jones crossover. Buzz could be a real denizon of the STAR WARS Galaxy and wind up with toys based on his likeness; after all the same thing happened to Yoda, R2-D2, etc. This means of course that the cartoon BUZZ LIGHTYEAR OF STAR COMMAND probably took place in the TVCU, a few short years before the movie STAR WARS: THE PHANTOM MENACE (maybe even contemporous to it).
22 BBY--ATTACK OF THE CLONES--There is an actually no attacks by any clones in this movie. When the clones first invade the arena one of the republic gunships has Homer Simpson in it. [Thanks to Connor for this info.]
22 to 19 BBY--CLONE WARS--All the events of the Clone Wars that occur between episodes II and III, and as mentioned in episode IV. These are the shorter cartoons that ran on Cartoon Network in ten minute segments and the later, better cartoons and film. Some of the animated shorts are contradicted by the later, better Clone Wars film and series. My son Connor, THE Star Wars expert, considers most of this series still canon, and only those bits that don't work part of a divergent timeline. This series was cancelled, but given an ending exclusively on Netflix. It has been replaced by Disney's Rebels animated series as part of the transition to Disney's purchase of Star Wars. Also, in Star Wars the Clone Wars the 3D animated one, Indiana Jones's hat is seen, as well as the ark and a crystal skull. I'm not going to tell you what happened. Go watch the movie. Google the trailers and reviews. I thought it was awesome. But it does take place in a divergent timeline, that separates Disney owned from Lucas owned stories. Most Star Wars stories that happened up to Return of the Jedi can fit in one singular timeline. Post-Return is the primary point of divergence, from the expanded universe novels that contradict the new trilogy.
c. 1,000,000 B.C.--Roxy and Chip made their way to the TVCU via one of those portals, and were Toons in the TVCU. They appeared human. (Though we tend to think that cartoons look like cartoons, in fact, the cartoons we watch are just animated representations of events and people. That is why some cartoons take place in the TVCU. For example, the Clone Wars cartoon is not a separate reality from the Star Wars canon because it's a cartoon. It's the same characters. We are just seeing them in an animated venue.
1814—STAR WARS TALES # 19—“Into the Great Unknown”--When passing through a worm hole, Han Solo and Chewbacca are spit back out where they started, but somehow they were duplicated, including their ship, the Millenium Falcon. The Falcon crashes on Earth, in the Pacific Northwest. Solo is inured by the crash and killed by the natives. Chewbacca then lives off the land, helping inspire the legends of Bigfoot (though there is more than one other inspiration for this legend.)

This is usually explained by magical portals drawing these warriors from their proper time periods and locales.

1 Million B.C.--FLINTSTONES--"Christmas
Flintstones"--In the Looniverse, they celebrated the birth of Christ a
million years before the birth of Christ. Of course, this is only one of many
anachronisms. In one commercial for the first airing of Star Wars on TV, Fred
is shown claiming he and Wilma had seen Star Wars when they were kids. Though
the Flintstones takes place in the Stone Age, it also seems to exist in the
modern era. For instance, on Drawn Together, Toots of 2010 visits Bedrock
during the era just before the birth of Bam-Bam. But it’s said to be Bedrock in
the modern day. So though many stories reinforce the Flintstones existing in
the distant past, others demonstrate it to be contemporary. Since the
Looniverse was created as a tulpa reality based around Bedrock, I believe that
Bedrock itself exists in both the past and present at the same time. And if
that sounds looney, well, it is the Looniverse.

Spring 1940—STAR WARS TALES # 19—“Into the Great Uknown”—Indiana Jones and Short Round discover the remains of the Millenium Falcon and it’s captain. They do not discover Chewbacca, who watches them from a distance.

January 1980--MUPPET SHOW--I just had to include the Muppet Show, didn't I? I stayed up all night trying to work this out. OK, we all know that in the TVCU, identical cousins is a regular occurrence. But this one I still had to stretch. In early 1980, Mark Hamill hosts THE MUPPET SHOW to promote his new STAR WARS MOVIES. Yes, so he is the actor playing Mark Hamill. But then by the end of the show, we also get to see the real Luke Skywalker, Chewbacca, R2-D2 and C-3PO. We learn that Skywalker and Hamill are identical cousins. Even though Hamill plays the fictional Skywalker and Skywalker is from a long time ago in a galaxy far far away. But I figured it out. Ready? Here goes. Padme had a sister, who as a child got sent to a wormhole and ended up on Earth. Stranded, she took the Earth name Virgiania Suzanne Johnson. As an adult, she met and fell in love with William Hammill, and their son would be Mark Hammill. Hey, that makes sense. Except that the cousins know of each others' existence. Hmmm.... So perhaps Virginia's disappearance happened while Padme was pregnant. Yes, during Episode III. Which means Virginia should and probably was present during the entire prequel trilogy yet we never noticed her. No wonder she took off. So Virginia told her son that he had a cousin far off in space. When Hammill got the role of Skywalker something must have clicked in his mind. Though the force wasn't strong in his side of the family, the strange connection was enough for the two cousins to psychically link and communicate. Especially since Hammill was already in close contact with George Lucas, who had his own strong connection to the events of that other place. So when Skywalker arrived on Earth, they already knew each other. Whew!!! All this from a stupid cameo on a muppet show.

CRISIS WITHIN--This mini-series took place concurrently with Crisis on Infinite
Earths. It featured every Super Comics character that ever appeared thus far.
The story reveals that the Crisis affected all realities, including those of
Powerkid, the Heroes of Earth, and Animal Town. This story also takes place in
many time periods, involving the present day characters, Super-Bob from 1982,
Middle-Earth, the Space Patrol, etc. This also includes appearance of G-Force
from Battle of the Planets, Zorro, the Lone Ranger, Star Trek, Buck Rogers,
Star Wars, Mighty Mouse, the Super Friends, He-Man, Batman and Robin, the
Greatest American Hero, Dial H for Hero, the Mighty Heroes, G.I. Joe, the
Ghostbusters, and Madison Mermaid from Splash. (There may be more that I can't
remember.) The story reveals that these realities (which would be the TVCU,
Horror Universe, and Looniverse), were affected by the anti-matter wall and the
time and space anomalies. The Super Comics heroes and villains were all on the
Monitor's satellite, along with heroes from the Marvel Universe as well. (For
the sake of the TVCU, these alternate realities were all divergent timelines
with the exception of the Looniverse, which is a magical realm in the Void
between realities). Powerkid and other Super Comics heroes were part of a
second team that invade the anti-matter universe. But after that, the Powerkid
Police and Heroes of Earth had to deal with a separate crisis within their own
realities. Doctor Deadly has taken advantage of the weakening of time and space
to attempt to destroy all reality. He's defeated, but a barrier is created that
traps the Heroes of Earth in the TVCU, unable to return to their Horror Universe.
Also during these events, the Anti-Monitor kills Powergirl, who Powerkid had a
crush on. At the end of these events, the Powerkid Police disband and Powerkid
retires. He also decides that he is no longer Bobby, and goes by Bob. Another
effect of the Crisis is that Powerkid loses knowledge of the future, including
his meetings with the Space Patrol. [Powerkid was a character I created as a
child, as a fictional super-hero version of myself.]

August 2008--THE MIDDLEMAN--"The Clotharian Contamination Protocol"--From Sean Levin's Crossover Universe: a NASA employee is named Lethbridge-Stewart. A "Zygon-Rated" containment box appears. The Nakatomi Protocol expands the vents in Middleman HQ to human size, allowing the Middleman to crawl through them in case of an emergency. A Clotharian bomb has writing on it in Aurebesh. Lethbridge-Stewart is probably related to the CU counterpart of Brigadier Alistair Gordon Lethbridge-Stewart from Doctor Who. The Zygons are an alien race also seen in Doctor Who. The Nakatomi Protocol appears to have been inspired by John McClane crawling through the vents of the Nakatomi Plaza building, as seen in the movie Die Hard. The Aurebesh language is from the Star Wars film series.
April 2011--Deadpool Team-Up--"Deadpool: Herald of Galactus!"--James Bojaciuk
While there is a very, very, very AU Deadpool who was a CIA agent in the 1950s of the TVCU/WNU--this guy is the MU Deadpool teaming-up with the MU Galactus. But during his time with Galactus, they passed over into several other universes and destroyed some notable peoples: the Ewoks (sadly, not the Gungans), the Dragonriders of Pern, and Sarigar's race from the Alien Legion comics (And I would've failed to identify any of these guys other than the Ewoks without the comments). All of the destroyed worlds exist within their own universes, and are not brought into the TVCU/WNU--still, it's definitely of interest. Then Rob, the TVCU Watcher/Monitor, says: There's no reason that this Deadpool can't be the same one from the noir story. Look at how Wolverine differs in different time periods. Galactus exists in the TVCU. All the other villains shown (plus Iron Man) exist as well, minus the two X-villains. The Ewoks are in the TVCU. But the others are AUs. Or they could have been within the TVCU, also in galaxies far, far away.

September 1984--POWERKID POLICE # 25 AND 26--"Heroes of Earth"--The Powerkid Police team up with a team of heroes from an alternate reality, one where heroes are more predominately magic users and costume vigilantes. This world is less like the Television Crossover Universe, and more similar to, say, a Horror Crossover Universe. The leader of the team is named Vronski. Vronski is said to have been raised by Dracula and Venus. He is a horror host, who lives in the same reality as the stories he tells. This includes stories involving a Vietnam era version of the Creature Commandos, that implies that the original Creature Commandos also existed in that realty. Later is will be revealed that Vronski, in previous lives, has been Gandalph from Lord of the Rings and Merlin. He's also revealed later to be the Monitor (from Crisis on Infinite Earths). Another member of the Heroes of Earth was Doctor Mystery, who had another model of the Dynomutt, Dog Wonder. Another member Blacky (from General Hospital). And another was named Doctor Deadly (but not the same bad guy enemy of Powerkid). This Doctor Deadly was in fact secretly Ken Doll, married to Barbie Doll. This Doctor Deadly once fought the Empire from Star Wars.

June 1989--Uncanny X-Men # 245--This is a really odd one. This is actually an unofficial tie in to DC Comics’ Invasion company wide crossover event. In Invasion, the first strike takes place in Australia. It just so happens at this time, the X-Men were operating out of Australia, so the writer for X-Men decided to have some fun with this. First off, they had panels taking place at the Daily Planet, talking about the invasion in Australia, with Perry White and Jimmy Olsen. But for more fun, the alliance of different aliens depicted were some famous cameos. The alien races depicted included those of STAR WARS, ALIEN, and E.T. THE EXTRATERRESTRIAL. Among the heroes seen defending Australia are the X-Men (of course), Hawkman, and ALF! Note that Marvel was publishing an ALF comic at the time, and ALF was established to be part of the Marvel Universe when his comic had a crossover with Marvel’s Evolutionary War company wide crossover event. So as I’ve said elsewhere, while this doesn’t bring in all X-Men stories, a version of the X-Men do exist in the TVCU, and apparently, some variation of the Invasion occured also in the TVCU. Alien invasions actually happen often in the TVCU, but are contantly covered up by governments and private consortiums.

Cinderella here appears live action, but is the same Cinderella from the animated film, who originally comes from the fairy tale realm. C3PO appears. This is the Live Action version from another fairy tale realm. Miss Piggy, the cast of Cheers, Ernest P. Worrell and Will Smith also appear from the Live Action Universe. Though Will Smith at the time also played a fictional version of himself at this time on the Fresh Prince of Bel-Aire, this appears to be actor/rapper Will Smith appearing as his celebrity self. This special aired on The Magical World of Disney.

The Story: The pollution caused by humans is literally killing Mother Nature.
Notes: This is a mega television crossover event. And despite the silly premise, all the crossed series remain true to the shows and films they come from. This special takes place in the Live Action Universe, so all of the above mentioned live action series are part of the Live Action Universe. There is an appearance of Elong Spengler, president of Waste Busters. He is said to be the brother of Egon Spengler of Ghostbusters and is played by the same actor. And yes, the Muppets are in this. I had considered including the Muppet Show (and other series that have the muppets like Sesame Street) as animated crosses, as puppetry is a form of animation. But then that crosses a line that would then have me including Star Wars as animated because of Yoda, or any live action film with CGI. So I’ve chosen to not include them as connectors, but Muppets still rightfully have a presence in this guide. The muppets do exist in the Live Action Universe, which as I’ve explained before, may resemble our real world, but is very different. Muppets of the Live Action Universe are not puppets. As Kermit once explained to Seth Meyers on SNL, he is a real talking frog. Murphy Brown, Doogie Howser, Cheers, the Cosby Show, the Golden Girls, and Married with Children are all standard sitcoms and are brought into the Live Action Universe by this cross. Looney Tunes characters are animated drawings brought to life in the tulpa-like reality of the Cartoon Universe, who come to the Live Action Universe quite often through portals. They even live and work in the Live Action Universe, and people from the Live Action Universe find this perfectly acceptable. Back to the Future is also part of the Live Action Universe, and this appearance of Doc Brown and his Delorean is a confirmation. Nathan Thurm is a character from Saturday Night Live, but this cross does not bring in the entire cast of characters from SNL. This cross also brings in the loveable alien E.T. This special also has appearances from many real life celebrities appearing as themselves. They do not count as crossovers. It’s presumed that every person who exists in the real world has a counterpart in the Live Action Universe. However, some of the celebrities are worth noting. Dennis Miller appears as the anchor for Weekend Update, a segment on SNL that includes many fictional elements and characters, thus we can say that SNL Weekend Update, but not all of SNL, is in the Live Action Universe. On the other hand, Will Smith and Kid’n’ Play also appear, but they are appearing as real life famous rappers, and not their fictional counterparts of themselves from the Fresh Prince of Bel-Aire and House Party. Finally, in my previous book, the Horror Crossover Encyclopedia, I did not include characters from folklore and mythology as crossovers, since so many different series had their own contradictory versions. However, for this guide, those contradictions don’t matter so much, and it’s more relevant to include fairy tale characters in a book about cartoons. So I have included Mother Nature as a crossover, though not as an animated cross, thus not able to be used as a connector. However, this is a cross with the character from folklore, and we should consider that this is indeed the Live Action Universe form of Mother Nature, and any other versions of her from the Live Action Universe are probably the same character just appearing in a different form. Each reality’s Earth probably has its own version of Mother Nature, who likewise can appear in different forms.

The Story: Several short stories featuring numerous Cartoon Network characters, original and acquired, in various shared reality segments.
Notes: Since its inception, Cartoon Network has run numerous promos that featured it’s original characters and acquired properties in original short segments that demonstrate that everything seen on Cartoon Network, original or reruns from other networks, takes place in the same shared reality. Most of the segments take place at the Cartoon Network studios, or the town the studio is set in, which seems to be Townsville from the Powerpuff Girls. I conjecture that Townsville is nearby Los Angeles and Toontown. However, there is evidence elsewhere, in Phineas and Ferb, that Townsville is part of the same Tri-State Area as Dansville from Phineas and Ferb. There are several areas in the United States that are known as the Tri-State area, and California is not in any known “tri-state area”. Note that some of the series above are not part of the main Cartoon Universe. Also, some of these series exist in the past for future. Clearly Cartoon Network has access to travel between time and alternate realities.

Mufasa is from the Lion King. Mufasa mistakenly refers to his son as Kimba, but quickly corrects himself. Darth Vader is of course from Star Wars, but in this case, he is likely from the version that exists in the Kingdom Hearts world, as opposed to the live action Star Wars that is a fairy tale realm of Once Upon a Time. James Earl Jones also plays himself, as the announcer who does the commercials where he says “This is CNN.”

The Story: Homer sees an alien, which brings X-Files FBI agents Mulder and Scully to town to investigate.
Notes: Since this is the Cartoon Universe, this would be the Cartoon Universe versions of the X-Files characters. In a police line-up of aliens gathered for Homer to identify, the aliens that appear are Marvin the Martian, Gort, Chewbacca, Alf and either Kang or Kodos. Marvin the Martian is a recurring foe of Bugs Bunny and other Looney Tunes characters. Gort is the robot from the Day the Earth Stood Still. Apparently a version of that film must exist in the Cartoon Universe. Chewbacca is a wookiee from Star Wars, but this is likely the version from the animated Star Wars that would be a Kingdom Hearts world. Alf was an alien in a live action show (where Alf was portrayed by a puppet) but also had an animated Saturday morning cartoon. Kang and Kodos are identical twin aliens who may also be a couple (with one being female, but it’s very hard to tell). They are original characters from the Simpsons. They often appear in the non-canonical Treehouse of Horrors Halloween specials, but occasionally have appeared within stories that are part of the main canon of the series.

This is a fictional material seen in the Star Wars trilogy, used to freeze Han Solo. Peter and Chris try to capture the Three Little Pigs, but Peter is bested by the house made of bricks. Cutaway Crosses: In a cutaway that’s likely not true, Peter was in the gang from West Side Story. Finally, in what was very clearly a lie, Peter turned into the Hulk when angered by the man from the children's’ restaurant.

This crossover also places the Star Wars Galaxy as existing as part of the Horror Universe. All the characters involved had series by Dark Horse Comics, making this crossover more valid.

In that Muppet Christmas Special, an Angel is attempting to take Kermit to an alternate timeline to show him what life would be like if he'd never founded the Muppets theater. Before he successfully pulls a 'Clarence' though, he and Kermit wound up on another planet talking to Yoda. Since this was a space-time continuum breech, it is very likely that they traveled to Dagobah during Yoda's time on that planet.
November 2003--FAMILY GUY--"When You Wish Upon a
Weinstein"--When the nuns are leaving the church and boarding the bus, the
Batman villain Penguin is outside jumping for joy going “Excellent, excellent!”
and delivers his signature laugh. The gag is a reference to the slang term
“penguins” which is often used to describe nuns due to their traditional black
and white uniforms, and the fact that the Penguin used trained penguins in his
crimes. Furthermore, in the old Batman series, Penguin’s henchmen wore black
and white costumes, the same colors as the nuns’ habits. A short cut scene,
which parodies the rumored dangers of laser eye surgery, Star Wars character
Luke Skywalker, who wields a lightsaber to execute the surgery on the
encouragement of Obi-Wan Kenobi. Optimus Prime, leader of the Autobots in
Transformers shows up to the Quahog synagogue for the Sabbath service. Also
appearing is Lenny Kravitz who being half-Jewish, is shown with only half of
his body present.
2005 to Present--AMERICAN DAD--Stan Smith is a CIA agent,
husband, and father, who lives with his wife and two kids, and an alien and a
fish with the brain of a former German scientist. Characters from Family Guy
and The Cleveland Show have made crossover appearances in American Dad! And
vice versa.

In a non-canonical flashback, which is likely only part of Peter’s imagination, Peter once lived at Superman’s Fortress of Solitude, and was a distraction during a meeting of the Justice League.

When Cleveland is training to fight Quagmire, he is trained by Mickey Goldmill, who also trained Rocky Balboa. Cleveland is also goaded on “to let the hatred flow through him” by Emperor Palpatine, ruler of the Galactic Empire from Star Wars. Despite the importance to the Brown family, Cleveland Junior does not appear in this episode nor is he even mentioned. However, this storyline is a major plot point leading to the spinoff, The Cleveland Show.

When Joe is chasing the Griffins via helicopter in the sewers, TIE fighters from Star Wars are also down there, which the helicopter shoots down. The helicopter itself appears to be Blue Thunder from the TV movie and series of the same name. While in the sewer, the Griffins encounter the Goonies. In a cutaway that likely didn’t really happen, Peter rides Falkor from The Neverending Story.

Notes: In the hospital emergency room waiting area are: Bubbles of the Powerpuff Girls, who is pregnant; Ariel the Little Mermaid, who is being choked by a soda six-pack plastic ring; Bambi, accompanying his recently shot mother (meaning this takes place during the events of the classic film); Bullwinkle, with Rocky stuck up his butt; Sonny, who is too cuckoo for Cocoa Puffs; and Joe Camel in an iron lung. Elroy Jetson is abducted in this episode. Note this demonstrates that the future of the Jetsons somehow is also contemporary to modern day Toontown. Josie of the Pussycats and Daphne of Mystery, Inc. are both shown to have mystery solving licenses, which Foxxy does not possess. When Foxxy is taking the SAT, others taking the test are Parappa the Rapper, (My Neighbor) Totoro, Usagi Tsukini (Sailor Moon), Voltron, Astro Boy, Joe Jitsu (from the Dick Tracy Show), No Face (from Spirited Away), Hampton the Hampster and Hello Kitty. The person administering the test of one of the generic anthropomorphic dogs who originate from the Mickey Mouse shorts and are now commonly seen as part of the “Mickey Mouse Universe”. A magic top hat lands on a pile of garbage, bringing it to life exactly as it did for Frosty the Snowman. Foxxy falls through a trap door and encounters a rancour just as in Return of the Jedi. Note that the Board of Education is inspired by Schoolhouse Rock, but this character is actually original to Drawn Together.

The Story: When the FCC goes overboard on censorship, Peter creates his own pirate television station.
Notes: Cobra Commander is the head of the FCC. In the canon of G.I. Joe, Cobra is a terrorist organization that has many fronts, though they are usually corporations and towns, not government agencies. Apache Chief, a super-hero who originated on the Super Friends, helps Peter put a satellite dish on his roof using his power to grow large. Non-canonical: The opening sequence is a direct parody of the opening of The Naked Gun, and also incorporates Star Wars, Pirates of the Caribbean, Wizard of Oz, The Shining, Ben-Hur, Doom, The Sound of Music, The Simpsons and Bobby’s World. Peter has a cutaway flashback in which he is raped by Jake Ryan of Sixteen Candles on his sixteenth birthday. In another cutaway flashback, Peter owned a mail-order business transporting Acme products to Wile E. Coyote. There is also a parody version of the Honeymooners seen on TV.

Other non-canonical crosses include: Peter has a flashback in which he and Meg were in the events of Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. In another cutaway, Lion-O of the Thundercats uses the Sword of Omens to spy on Cheetara undressing.

The Story: The gang go to the mall without Clara. Clara assumes this means the Rapture has begun. Meanwhile, the gang try to park their van into a compact space, getting trapped. Foxxy goes for help, and discovers a terrible secret at Hot Topic.
Notes: This was a two parter, and no, that’s not an error. There was nearly a year gap between the release of part one and two! This series was not doing so well in the ratings, and so it was a regular fight with the network to get them to pick up more episodes. The gang get blocked from three parking spaces by Speed Racer, He-Man and Wonder Woman. When Foxxy defends Xandir’s driving, saying he is the captain of the vessel, she also brings up other captains such as Captain America and Cap’n Crunch. The victims being tortured at Hot Topic in a Hostel type manner are Fred Flintstone, Wish Bear (of the Care Bears), Daria, Scrappy-Doo (nephew of Scooby), Davey and Goliath, Homer Simpson, Popeye, Jerry Mouse, Hagar the Horrible and Snagglepuss. Toots drinks from the same fish tank that had been in the dentist’s office in Finding Nemo. She drinks all the contents including Nemo. Mufasa speaks to Xandir as an image in a urine puddle. Note that Popeye died in a previous episode but appears in this episode. In this same episode, Captain Hero demonstrates how toons can never really die, as he chops off his own head for the audience and then after briefly going off screen for a few seconds comes back alive and appearing completely normal. Later, the gang complain about how toons always die in episodes only to show up again in later episodes. To belabour the point, Ling-Ling pops up out of Toots’ dead body in part 2, which he was in to keep warm, to agree with the complaint about dead toons coming back, despite the fact that Ling-Ling had been killed in part one of this very story.Captain Hero mentions catching a disease from Aquaman. Wooldoor has a lightsaber. Xandir says that Spanky gave up on imagination and made the nothing come, which is a reference to the Neverending Story.

The Story: Roger and Stan become bounty hunters to track down Jeff after they learn he is wanted for smuggling marijuana in Florida.
Notes: In a bounty hunter montage, we see Boba Fett and Greedo (from the Star Wars trilogy), a Predator alien, and Dog the Bounty Hunter, who Roger calls Horse Renoir. Roger exhibits psychic powers just like the lead character played by Christopher Walken in the Dead Zone.
October 2007--SOUTH PARK--"Imaginationland"--The boys discover Imaginationland. This is actually simply a portion of the Looniverse where Anomaly sometimes teleports real beings from the multiverse due to the nature of the Looniverse and it's Tulpa state. The Story: Still recovering from the events of the previous novel, he Droods find themselves at war with soul eating demons trying to bring their masters into their reality.
Notes: The Droods have a mirror created by Merlin. This mirror has also appeared in the Nightside series. Harry Fabulous from the Nightside series appears. Jimmy Thunder from Drinking Midnight Wine appears. There is a reference to the many-angled ones. This was a creation of Grant Morrison that first appeared in the 2000 AD comic, and has been incorporated into the Cthulhu Mythos. The Droods’ time train once was used to travel back in time to prevent an Old One from rising, but in doing so, caused the Old One to rise. There is a bar called Cafe Night, that was formerly called Renfield’s. Presumedly, it was owned by a descendent of Dracula’s servant. Eddie destroys a couple of Baron Frankenstein’s creations. This works with Mark Brown’s theory that there have been many monsters created by the Frankensteins, explaining why there are so many different versions tied to the same shared reality. There is a monk claiming to be Melmoth the Wanderer, though Eddie doubts it, as he has met many who claimed to be Melmoth. Melmoth comes from the story of the same name about a scholar who sells his soul for an extra 150 years of life. Eddie also claims to have met many Draculas. This supports both Chuck Loridans’ soul clone theory and my own Sons of the Dragon theory. Additionally, he claims to have met many Fausts. Though it doesn’t support any theories, it does explain why Felix Faust , enemy of the Justice League of America, has two separate origins in DC canon. Originally, he was just a mortal man in the 1960s raising demons for power. Later, he claimed to be the original Faust. Eddie mentions having worked with a French demon hunter named Mallorie. This may be a reference to the film Bloody Mallory. This story gives an origin for the Kandarian demons from the Evil Dead series. Originally they were humans who allowed themselves to be possessed by demons to become unstoppable, but they then turned on each other. Vril Power, Inc. is mentioned as an enemy of the Droods. Leonard Ash from Shadows Fall appears. The Celestials are mentioned. They first appeared in the Eternals Marvel comic. A “rogue” Drood returns home via Dr. Syn’s Fly by Night Delivery Service. The delivery service is also transporting Elwood P. Dowd and his invisible giant rabbit friend, Harvey. Eddie travels to the future to recruit Giles Deathstalker as an ally. Giles is revealed to be a descendant of the Drood family. The Drood armory has an 1880s Moon Launch Canon, a reference to First Men in the Moon. They also have an oversized Moleship, a reference to Pellucidar. Another item in the armory is a giant mechanical spider created by a mad man in the wild west. This is the giant mechanical spider used by Dr. Lovelace in the feature film Wild, Wild West. This means that both the television series and the film are in the same shared reality. The time train used by Eddie to visit the future can do the Kessel run in under five centuries. The “Kessel Run” is located in the Star Wars galaxy.

The Story: Following his divorce, Cleveland decides to take Cleveland Junior and move to California for a fresh start. However, they stop in Cleveland’s hometown on the way, and Cleveland ends up rekindling a romance with his high school crush, marrying her, and staying in his hometown instead.
Notes: This episode starts in the 4:3 format of Family Guy, and then as the Browns are driving out of town, the format changes to 16:9, which will be the regular format for the Cleveland Show. Near the start of the show, Peter is trying to catch the Road Runner. Thing from the Addams Family is in Donna’s home. It should be noted that Cleveland mentions events from several previous Family Guy episodes that he participated in. Among those, he mentions Blue Harvest. Blue Harvest is a trilogy of Family Guy special episodes which conflate Family Guy with Star Wars. There are other crossovers in Blue Harvest as well. This reference guide will not include entries on Blue Harvest as the stories are not part of the series canon. However, it’s worth noting that Cleveland refers to those episodes as if they were reenactments of the Star Wars trilogy that the gang from Quahog put on like a play, whereas when originally presented, they were stories being told by Peter to his family.

SEASON 5 EPISODE 9 “RAPTURE’S DELIGHT”

The Story: The rapture comes. Stan and Francine are left behind as they were having sex in church when it occurred. Time passes in a post-apocalyptic future where Stan and Francine help Jesus battle Satan.
Notes: Jesus is wearing two holy hand grenades. Characters at the bar are from the Road Warrior. Another character comes from Empire Strike Back. Jesus mentions his father’s dead jester, a reference to Yorick from Hamlet. It should be noted that since American Dad is so intertwined with Family Guy, both created by Seth MacFarlane and sharing the same writers and animators, this Jesus is probably the same version as in Family Guy. Though there are many depictions of Jesus appearing in series within the Cartoon Universe (most notably on South Park, for instance), MacFarlane’s version stands apart as a separate being, for in one episode of Family Guy, he admits he’s not real. This means that he is in fact a tulpa. This doesn’t mean that there isn’t a real Jesus. It just means that the MacFarlane depiction of Jesus is not him. He is a manifestation created by the psychic energy and imaginations of those who exist in the Cartoon Universe, particularly in the regions of Quahog, Langley Falls, and Stoolbend. Incidentally, although the Jesus from South Park seems to be real, as he lives in the town and has his own talk show, he has also been depicted as a resident of Imaginationland, a domain where characters who are fictional within the Cartoon Universe exist. It’s never made clear if the Jesus who lives in South Park and the Jesus from Imaginationland are the same beings or two separate entities. Since we are talking about the intertwining of the MacFarlane shows, another interesting note is the depiction of the musical duo Hall & Oates in this episode. John Oates had been ruptured, leaving Daryl Hall behind. This conflicts an episode of the Cleveland Show where Oats is depicted as a devil while Hall is an angel. Finally, this episode ends with Stan being killed, and going to his personal heaven. His personal heaven is the world before the Rapture. Thus, every episode of American Dad, and any series connected to American Dad, after this point is in fact existing in Stan’s personal heaven, not the real Cartoon Universe, as the rapture did occur in the Cartoon Universe. However, to keep my brain from exploding, I’m going to consider this episode to be a divergent timeline, and believe that in the main Cartoon Universe, the rapture has not come yet. Thus, Stan’s reward was simply to have the original timeline restored. But, since we’ve also brought Supernatural into the Cartoon Universe, it should be noted that in that series, around this time, Sam Winchester did indeed begin the apocalypse, though most people hadn’t realized it had begun. In a future five years later, Dean saw a world overrun by Zombies, and a battle against Satan, but the Winchesters managed to avert this timeline from existing. It’s possible that the main body of this episode is in the same divergent timeline that Dean Winchester visited, and that Stan was able to return to the main timeline because Dean and Sam stopped the apocalypse. And that’s a lot of deep thoughts for a show that makes money off of fart jokes.
December 2009--CLEVELAND SHOW--"A Cleveland Brown
Christmas"--On Cleveland Jr.'s shelf in his room is an RD-D2 toy that
resembles Cleveland from the Family Guy Star Wars spoof, Blue Harvest. Not
counting all of Cleveland and Cleveland Jr.'s appearances, this is the third
episode to crossover with Family Guy. Meg Griffin made an appearance in the
intro and Herbert appeared in a cutaway gag.
April 5, 2010 to April 5, 2013--SCOOBY-DOO! MYSTERY, INCORPORATED--Regarding Pebbles and Bamm-Bamm in Scooby-Doo! Mystery Incorporated: Pebbles Flintstone and Bamm-Bamm Rubble appear to be students at Crystal Cove High School. They appear in their teenaged incarnations from the Pebbles and Bamm-Bamm Show. That means in this timeline, the Flintstones and Rubbles must exist in contemporary Crystal Cove. But by the rules of links in divergent timelines, that would place the Pebbles and Bamm-Bamm show, and the show it spawned from, The Flintstones, in the main HCU timeline. Only, can it? The setting for the Flintstones is usually said to be circa one million B.C., and occasionally 10,000 B.C. mistakenly. Bedrock, and the entire world of their time, is a place where dinosaurs coexist with humans, and are pets and appliances. Television and telephones exist. Modern cigarettes exist there. They celebrate Christmas. They put on plays of Charles Dicken’s A Christmas Carol and have met Santa. And Fred and Wilma saw Star Wars as kids. In conclusion, the Flintstones cannot exist in the main HCU timeline. I allowed for some bad history in allowing Hercules and Xena, but the Flintstones is too much. But the divergent timeline rule still applies. It could possibly be that the Flintstones and the Pebbles and Bamm-Bamm Show exist not in the main HCU, but in a pocket dimension, possibly accessible the portals to the lost worlds in the center of the Earth. If that’s the case, it may be that the Flintstones was actually a contemporary setting, or exists in a reality where time operates differently than in the real world, or the HCU.
2010--WIZARDS OF WAVERLY PLACE--"Moving On"--Jerry mentions an old friend of his named Benjamin Kenobi. This is a reference to the character Obi-Wan Kenobi from Star Wars, who at one point went by the cover name "Ben Kenobi".
2010--DOCTOR WHO--"The End of Time"--The tenth
Doctor dies and regenerates into the eleventh Doctor. This Doctor's Companions
are Amy Pond, Rory Williams, River Song, Craig Owens, and Clara Oswald. In the
space bar scene, one of the aliens recites the same alien words that can be
heard by an alien in the bar on Mos Eisley in Star Wars. Apparently common bar
talk for whatever language that is amongst scoundrels. I believe Star Wars to
be in the Whoniverse.
August 2, 2010--SCOOBY-DOO! MYSTERY INCORPORATED (ANIMATED
SERIES) SEASON 1 EPISODE 4 “REVENGE OF THE MAN CRAB”--Crystal Cove gets crabs.
Actually, it’s just one very, very large crab. Dylan McKay and Brendan Walsh
are victims of the Man Crab Beast, which places Beverly Hills, 90210 in the
main Television Crossover Universe timeline. Pebbles Flintstone and Bamm-Bamm

The Story: The storyline of this season is an ongoing arc, so this is one tiny bit of the overall story. In this episode, the team has to rescue all the aliens captured by Aggregor, the bad guy.
Notes: Professor Paradox mentions having to deal with issues “a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away…” Clearly he is referring to the setting of Star Wars. The Professor has adventures in time and space, as a time traveler, and is clearly inspired by Doctor Who. However, this is not the Doctor. Paradox was an Earth human working at Area 51 in the 1950s, who created a hole in time and space, and accidentally found himself thrown into the event horizon, where he was trapped there for a thousand years, going insane and then sane again. He now travels through time and space fixing history.
April 2011--Deadpool Team-Up--"Deadpool: Herald of Galactus!"--James Bojaciuk
While there is a very, very, very AU Deadpool who was a CIA agent in the 1950s of the TVCU/WNU--this guy is the MU Deadpool teaming-up with the MU Galactus. But during his time with Galactus, they passed over into several other universes and destroyed some notable peoples: the Ewoks (sadly, not the Gungans), the Dragonriders of Pern, and Sarigar's race from the Alien Legion comics (And I would've failed to identify any of these guys other than the Ewoks without the comments). All of the destroyed worlds exist within their own universes, and are not brought into the TVCU/WNU--still, it's definitely of interest. Then Rob, the TVCU Watcher/Monitor, says: There's no reason that this Deadpool can't be the same one from the noir story. Look at how Wolverine differs in different time periods. Galactus exists in the TVCU. All the other villains shown (plus Iron Man) exist as well, minus the two X-villains. The Ewoks are in the TVCU. But the others are AUs. Or they could have been within the TVCU, also in galaxies far, far away.

The Story: President Barack Obama wins his second term as President of the United States, beating Governor Mitt Romney. But Kyle discovers that the election was fixed by Eric Cartman, on behalf of the Chinese, who hoped that by helping Obama, he would force Disney to give the rights to Star Wars over to them.
Notes: Just as a reminder, in 2008, South Park told us the story of how Obama and McCain were jewel thieves in cahoots, with the election a big scam to gain access to a jewel accessible via tunnels below the White House. But in the end, Obama decided to stay on as president. Mickey Mouse had been depicted as the evil head of Disney in previous episodes of South Park, and he and Disney have been similarly portrayed on Family Guy, the Simpsons, and Drawn Together. As much as it may be painful to bear, we must concede that in the Cartoon Universe, Mickey Mouse has become the head of Disney in recent years, following his ownership of the House of Mouse, and become a darker figure, at least for a while. Absolute power corrupts absolutely. In this episode, it’s shown how Disney now owns Star Wars, just as in the real world. Only in the Cartoon Universe, it seems that Disney literally owns the Star Wars Galaxy, now running the Galactic Empire, having storm troopers, and access to their technology. Characters from various points in the Star Wars history have often been shown to interact with the Cartoon Universe, and it’s likely that the Star Wars Galaxy exists as part of the Kingdom Hearts Hypertime. It’s been demonstrated that the Disney theme parks have portals that access many of the other fairytale realms of that Hypertime.
c. October 24, 2013--ONCE UPON A TIME IN WONDERLAND--"Forget Me Not"--Ivan Ronald Schablotski
The third episode of ONCE UPON A TIME: WONDERLAND has the Red Queen looking through a book of horrors to threaten Alice with. One of these horrors is the Sarlacc, which she states would take thousands of years to digest her. This places the world of STAR WARS into the same multiverse as ONCE UPON A TIME.

MAR 16 - THE EMPIRE LUCKS OUT [ANTILOGY] - A space-time worm hole briefly connects Boston MA to a planet occupied by the Galactic Empire during a time before the Battle of Endor. The FBI's Boston-based Fringe Division calls in 50 New England based Ghostbusters (including Arkham Ghostbusters Ivan, Aaron, and Dani), who face Imperial and Alliance forces as they attempt to minimize cross-time contamination and close the gate. The disturbance is forced shut using Fringe technology, but its cause is never determined (Leprechaun involvement is suspected, though in fact the rift was technological, rather than magical, in nature).

The Galactic Empire and Rebel / Alliance forces were introduced in the 1977 film STAR WARS (aka Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope), while the Battle of Endor took place in Episode VI: THE RETURN OF THE JEDI (1983). Fringe
Division is from the tv series FRINGE (2008-2013). Ghostbusters are from the 1984 movie GHOSTBUSTERS. It should be noted that no coordinates within space-time are definitively attributed to the Star Wars characters' point of origin, as the subject of whether or not the Star Wars saga takes place within the same reality as the TVCU, as well as how long ago a "long time ago" actually is, remains in debate. Star Wars may take place in a pocket reality a couple hundred years in the past, or a much longer time ago, in a galaxy far, far away.

AUG 23 - MY SEANCE PROJECT - The Dover Mini Makers Faire is interrupted when Imperial Forces stranded in New England last March attempt to commandeer a quantum computer to create a rift back to their own point in space-time. An uncontrollable vortex is opened, and assorted Ghostbuster franchises are called to help, via N.E.G.A.T.E.; the Bay State Ghostbusters, Arkham Ghostbusters, and Real New England Ghostbusters all respond. Demonic forces from beyond animate a giant blue crab sculpture at the Children's Museum, which the Ghostbusters combat. Once the mess is cleared up, a trip to the other side is required in order to prevent the vortex from reopening. To this end, the Ghostbusters enlist the aid of many of the local inventors still present and construct a transport module that resembles a small yellow submarine. The rift is successfully closed, but the Imperial forces disappear, and it is unclear if they were pulled back to their own far away galaxy, or if they simply abandoned the fight while the Ghostbusters were distracted with the hyperspace vortex.The Imperial Forces are elements of the STAR WARS franchise created by George Lucas, which began with the 1977 film STAR WARS (aka STAR WARS Episode 4: A NEW HOPE). Notes: Greedo appears, apparently prior to being shot by Han. The Star Wars Galaxy seems to in fact be an alternate dimension within the Cartoon Multiverse. Characters from Star Wars appear frequently on Earth in the Cartoon Universe. Time seems to move differently between worlds, or the portals between worlds randomly teleports people throughout time and space.
2268--ISHMAEL--At the Wonder Bar at Starbase 12, Han Solo (STAR WARS) is present, fighting with Starbuck and Apollo (BATTLESTAR GALACTICA). They were fighting over Sarah Jane Smith, who then leaves with the Doctor (DOCTOR WHO). Solo is from another galaxy in the distant past. Starbuck and Apollo are from the 1970s on a journey from their home world to Earth. It's likely the Doctor is responsible for bringing them all here, and it's presumed he got them all home. Kirk makes a comment about Sherlock Holmes, his relationship to Spock. Two Hokas are also seen (EARTHMAN'S BURDEN). They are cute living teddy bears. The main portion involves Spock traveling back in time (not with the Doctor) and meeting the Stemples (HERE COME THE BRIDES). Other western characters encountered are from PALADIN/HAVE GUN, WILL TRAVEL, BONANZA and MAVERICK. There is also an appearance of Straus and Sons which comes from James Clavell's Asian Saga: SHOGUN, TAI-PAN, GAI-JIN, KING RAT, NOBLE HOUSE, WHIRLWIND, and ESCAPE.

DUCK DODGERS IN ATTACK OF THE DRONES (ANIMATED SHORT)

The Story: Duck Dodgers is tasked to save Earth from aliens, and creates an army of robotic duplicates to assist him. However, once the day is saved, the duplicates begin to run amuck.
Notes: This short did not air as an episode of Duck Dodgers, which was at the time airing on Cartoon Network. This short was meant to be released theatrically preceding New York Minute, but Warner Brothers cancelled it when Looney Tunes: Back in Action was not as successful as they had projected. However, the short has made its way to the internet, thankfully. In the original Duck Dodgers shorts, the stories were revealed to be fictions of Daffy Duck. The premise of the animated Duck Dodgers series though it that Daffy has ended up in the actual future 24th ½ century and is posing as the hero he once made up. It’s unclear if this short, made in the same year the series was launched, was meant to be part of Daffy’s fictional Duck Dodgers world, or if it takes place in the actual future of the Looney Tunes/Cartoon Universe timeline. I prefer to assume that it is part of the animated series that would be canon for the Cartoon Universe, due to the crossovers. Following the rules for Looney Tunes characters, crosses between individual Looney Tunes series only count for inclusion in this book prior to 1960. (For instance, the early shorts with Bugs and Daffy get included). After the Looney Tunes characters came to television, the various Looney Tunes characters appeared together so often that those later stories were truly Looney Tunes stories, with Looney Tunes as its own series, rather than crosses between individual Looney Tunes series. In the case of this series, many Looney Tunes characters regularly appear in Duck Dodgers and it doesn’t make sense to catalog all of them. However, this series also has other crossovers outside of Looney Tunes, as demonstrated below. Dodgers reports to a council (modeled after the Jedi council from the Star Wars prequel trilogy). Among the council members are Dr. Zoidberg (from Futurama), the Great Gazoo (from the Flintstones), and a Klingon (from Star Trek). I don’t recall any episodes of Futurama that refer to the life span of Zoidberg’s race, so this could be Dr. Zoidberg when he was younger. (Futurama takes place in the 31st century). On the other hand, this could just as well be another of his race. Likewise, the Great Gazoo appeared on the Flintstones, circa one million B.C., but was said to be from the future. This could be the same Great Gazoo, either chronologically before or after he went to Bedrock. But like with Zoidberg, this could be another of the Great Gazoo’s race. As this series takes place in the 24th century (presumedly in the latter half, due to the reference to the ½), this lines up nicely with the Star Trek timeline, portraying Klingons now allies of Earth and the United Federation of Planets. This short also (as a parody of Star Wars) demonstrates the existence of “Star Wars” technology existing and in use by Earth and its allies in this era. Both a star destroyer and a lightsaber appear. The lightsaber seen here still seems to have glitches. As seen in Futurama, by the 31st century, the Earth police will have standard issue light sabers. As Star Wars seems to take place in its own pocket reality within the Cartoon Multiverse, it may be likely that the genesis of Earth’s use of Star Wars technology began in the 21st century when Mickey Mouse managed to purchase the entire Star Wars galaxy for Disney, as seen in South Park.
26th Century--FIREFLY--From geekwithcurves.com: It turns out Han Solo in carbonite isn't the only appearance of Star Wars in Firefly. Though this isn't fresh news, it is news to me. My friend Eliot recently pointed out to me that a ship from the Star Wars Expanded Universe shows up in the Firefly episode Shindig. I love when my favorite sci-fi 'verses bleed into each other.
The Starlight Intruder (a Mobquet Medium Transport) is from the Dark Empire comics series. It was built by smugglers but eventually ended up in an Imperial impound. I prefer to think its final resting place was on Persephone owned by someone like Mal Reynolds.

The Story: Philip J. Fry is a pizza delivery guy who gets accidentally cryogenically frozen on December 31, 1999, awakening on December 31, 2999. He ends up working for his brother’s descendent at the scientist’s delivery company.
Notes: When travelling in the transport tube, Fry passes a three-eyed fish, a descendant of the fish from Springfield mutated by the nuclear power plant, no doubt. Larry Burns’ head is seen in the head museum. Larry was the son of Montgomery Burns, the owner of that power plant. Fry also passes Ralph Wiggum in the tubes! It could be Ralph Wiggum’s descendant, a time travelling Ralph, or perhaps Ralph was also frozen. There is a sign in New New York that read “Akbar”, a reference to a character from Matt Groening’s Life in Hell. The police use lightsabers. They do this throughout the series, so I will only mention it here and not repeat it. A guy on a jet bike wears a helmet as Leia wore in Return of the Jedi. Everyone on Earth is given a permanent career assignment, just as in the Ayn Rand's novella Anthem.

The Story: Fry wins a contest to tour the factory that makes Slurm, a popular 31st century beverage, where he discovers Slurm is actually the secretions of an alien being.
Notes: Another popular beverage is Soylent Cola. This is based on Soylent Green, a film in which there is a good called Soylent Green, where the secret ingredient is people! There is also a reference to the elusive yak-face. This is a reference to an alien that appeared in the background for about three seconds in Return of the Jedi. Kenner accidentally made this alien into an action figure, not realizing how minor his appearance was. Once they realized the mistake, the stopped production on this figure, making it now a rare and valuable collector’s item.

The Story: Zapp Brannigan tries to start a war with a neutral planet, using the Planet Express crew as pawns in his plan.
Notes: Fry and Bender play Dejarik, the game seen in Star Wars. Zapp has a laser with settings for stun, kill, and Hyperdeath™. This is a reference to the phasers on Star Trek. It’s very iffy when determining Star Trek crossovers with Futurama. It’s established that Star Trek was a real show on Futurama. A real religion was created based on Star Trek in the 23rd century, and by the 31st century, it is forbidden to speak of Star Trek. In the real world, a lot of the technology seen on Star Trek has become a reality (such as mobile phones, for instance). So it’s possible that all the technology references on Star Trek do not imply that Star Trek is real in the world of Futurama, especially since Trek is a real show in that world. But since both Futurama and Star Trek have been independently shown to exist in the Cartoon Universe, the crossovers could still be valid. I’m not going to reference every bit of Trek technology that appears on Futurama, but you should at least be aware it is present throughout the entire series. As for how Star Trek could have actually happened in the 23rd century while having been a show in the 20th century, there was a short story written that demonstrated that a time traveller gave Gene Roddenberry information about events of the future which he presented to Paramount.

The kids pass an asteroid with a giant worm like creature like that seen in Empire Strikes Back. Hermes and his family appear to live in the same house once occupied by the Huxtables in the 20th century.

Notes: There is a horned wizard who resembles Tim the Enchanter from Monty Python and the Holy Grail. Professor Farnsworth mentions the Jedis.

ALTERNATE REALITIES:
I think that is all right now. There have been several ways to travel between worlds thus far. Of course most of the characters came to Storybrooke via a curse. Emma and Pinocchio came via the wardrobe. Baelfire came via a magic spell that created a portal. Snow and Emma later went to the Enchanted Forest via the Mad Hatter's hat, which has doors to all the wolds. (It's bigger on the inside!) Magic beans have also been used to travel between worlds. Mirrors works as portals to Wonderland. The White Rabbit also has the power to create holes between worlds. You can reach Neverland in your dreams, or if you can fly, by heading to the second star to the right, and straight on 'till morning. And mermaids can swim between realms with ease. Of course, there are other speculative ways, based on some of the realms only loosely associated. For instance, characters from Star Wars have come to Earth via wormholes. There's of course the connection between Oz and tornadoes. There's Asgard and rainbow bridges. And of course, getting zapped into video games like in Tron.
DC MULTIVERSE--First, this isn't the DC Universe, just to be clear. It's the Television Crossover Universe. And yes, I could gone that route, and then say that apparently Lucy is on Earth-1, and Aliens are in Earth-0, and Indiana Jones is Earth-2, but but Indiana Jones has also crossed with Star Wars, so that would be Earth-2, and Star Wars crossed with Star Trek, so that would be Earth-2, and Star Trek crossed with Buffy/Angel, so that would be Earth-2, and Angel crossed with Aliens, so that would be...uh oh.
DISNEY INFINITY--This seems to be some kind of alternate reality of sorts. It’s a game which includes characters owned by Disney, including it’s subsidiaries like Marvel. It seems to have games that are based on Disney stories, and you can choose from numerous licenced characters as playable. There’s also another part of the game where you can just freestyle with random characters, which means you can have characters from different series meet each other. But none of it works with regular canon and so thus must be an AU. So far the series included are: Pirates of the Caribbean, Incredibles, Monster University, Cars, Disney’s the Lone Ranger, Toy Story, Nightmare Before Christmas, Tangled, Wreck-It Ralph, Frozen, Fantasia, and Phineas and Ferb. Marvel and Star Wars are scheduled for future editions.
LEGO UNIVERSE--All the various films based on Lego toys veer just far off from the original versions to be placed in its own reality, and many original Lego creations have crossed with each other. LEGO Star Wars has LEGO City being in another galaxy far away from (LEGO) Star Wars.
TVCU-1-Cartoon Universe (also has its own inner multiverse,
as seen in various cartons. These are mostly one time seen worlds). In TINY
TOON ADVENTURES episode “A Quack in the Quarks”, In Duck Vader’s landing bay
are various space vessels from WAR OF THE WORLDS (NOVEL and 1953 FILM), 2001: A
SPACE ODYSSEY, BUCK ROGERS (1934 SERIAL), DOCTOR WHO, STAR WARS, EARTH VS. THE
FLYING SAUCERS, STAR TREK, LOST IN SPACE, LAND OF THE GIANTS, VOYAGE TO THE
BOTTOM OF THE SEA, and FORBIDDEN PLANET. Buster and Babs steal Duck Dodgers’
ship to save Plucky.
TVCU-2-reboots; this is also a world where vampires have been outed, the world fears mutants, and giant monsters do rise and wreak havoc. SPOILER: When Ratchet attaches Jetfire's parts to Optimus Prime, one of the components (in the top left) is R2-D2.
TVCU-5-Smallville--There are several references in SMALLVILLE stating that Krypton was in a galaxy far far away, implying that Krypton was from the same galaxy as Star Wars. Since the Threebootiverse is actually a divergent timeline from the main TVCU, that would mean that every version of Krypton in alternate TVCU timelines are the same Krypton, which is from the same galaxy as Star Wars.
TVCU-28-ROBOT CHICKEN UNIVERSE--This reality has it's own version of STAR WARS that has become quite famous in it's own right.
TVCU-29-Skitlandia and non-canon commercials—Han Solo appears on MIND OF MENICA. Leia appears on SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE. C3PO AND R2D2 appear on LATE SHOW WITH DAVID LETTERMAN, JEOPARDY, and CONAN. Chewbacca won the Lifetime Achievement Award at the 1997 MTV MOVIE AWARDS and also appeared on THE LATE SHOW WITH DAVID LETTERMAN and TOO LATE WITH ADAM COROLLA. It’s likely the following take place in a universe of the advertising.
TVCU-32-MEMEVERSE--Because everything happens somewhere.
TVCU-33-Earth-Prime/Real Universe/Reality TV—On Earth-Prime, Star Wars is loved by old guys like me and children like my son as a fictional world of film. Here is an example of one such fan.
Also on Earth-Prime, a toy of Vader comes to life in THE INDIAN IN THE CUPBOARD. Later, a life size model of Darth Vader at the Smithsonian temporarily comes to life in NIGHT AT THE MUSEUM: BATTLE OF THE SMITHSONIAN.
TVCU-52--Horror Universe-Pretty much everything that happened to Ivan would qualify, but in general Ivan is not legitimate enough to justify including in the book (well, maybe in the Forward). But, since this isn't the book, I'm going to list the various franchises with which the HCU Ivan Schablotski has had crossovers (minor connections are in italics and crossovers that don't involve Ivan, such as INUYASHA or JURASSIC PARK, are not included at all, but many crossovers that are not considered as canon in the TVCU, such as BLADE II and SCOOBY DOO, are acceptable in the HCU, so it all balances out).
TVCU-77--THE STAR WARS GALAXY-- (probably ). This may have at least one divergent timeline, as the new films will not use the massive body of works created to establish a post-trilogy mythos. Likely this would be the expanded universe that continued in books, comics, ect, while the Disney trilogy probably is part of the Kingdom Hearts group above. In Once Upon a Time in Wonderland, the Red Queen is looking through a book of horrors she possesses, and one is the Sarlacc, described just like in Return of the Jedi.
TVCU-80-Not Another Spoof Movie Universe-In EPIC MOVIE, Stormtroopers & Wookies Make a Cameo Appearance. In MEET THE SPARTANS, Leonidas says "Yo' mama's so hairy she speaks Wookiee!"
TVCU-89--BONGO UNIVERSE--As seen on SOUTH PARK, in the dimension of Imaginationland, Luke Skywalker is one of the main council members. Characters from Star Wars have also appeared to interact with people from Quahog, Rhode Island and Springfield, but Bongo Universe often pulls people randomly through time and space and then returns them with no memory of what happened, so it's uncertain of these people were pulled from Imaginationland or from a galaxy far far away.
- BLUE HARVEST UNIVERSE--There is an alternate universe that combines the characters of Star Wars with those of the Bongo Universe's FAMILY GUY.
TVCU-9602--An amalgamation of the Bongo Universe and the
Star Wars Galaxy. BLUE HARVEST UNIVERSE--This is a reality that merges the
characters and realities of STAR WARS with those from FAMILY GUY and AMERICAN
DAD. Bender appears in this amalgamation of Family Guy and Star Wars.

In that Muppet Christmas Special, an Angel is attempting to take Kermit to an alternate timeline to show him what life would be like if he'd never founded the Muppets theater. Before he successfully pulls a 'Clarence' though, he and Kermit wound up on another planet talking to Yoda. ReplyDeleteThere's a passing mention of the Sarlacc in the "Once Upon A Time in Wonderland" episode "Forget Me Not". The length of the Sarlacc's digestive cycle is mentioned, confirming that it's no accident. (The episode appears to be set in 2012 or so.)
