The Television Crossover Universe Celebrates TOBY O'BRIEN!

Image
Toby O'Brien is not a post contributor.  But he is a member of the TVCU Crew. Toby O'Brien has his own website, Inner Toob, also known as the Toobworld Dynamic .  His website was one of three that inspired me to present my Television Crossover Universe to the world via this website. Toby joined In on our Facebook group from the beginning, and was very active in contributing to our discussions.  When the TVCU Crew was founded, I decided to name Toby as a founding member of the crew without inviting him to contribute, because he already had his hands full with his own very successful website. Toby's website has continued to be a extremely useful tool for my own research, and Toby himself continues to provide me with valuable information. Toby's website also participated in our April Fool's Day Crossover Event from a few years ago.  As James, Ivan and I posted about our fictional TVCU counterparts, Toby also posted that day about his fictional Toob World co...

The Television Crossover Universe Celebrates the TVCU Crew!

This website recently hit a million views, just as we are about to celebrate tomorrow our sixth anniversary.   I created the TVCU concept as a kid, when I first discovered the idea of crossovers.  It started in a bunch of notebooks, and in 2011 I created this website as a place to share my ideas with a few friends I had met online that had similar interests.   I had no idea where this was going.  A million views.  Published books.  Podcasts.   Some would say that I am the TVCU, but I didn't do this alone. Along with the website, I run a Facebook forum, where the ideas regarding the TVCU get shared and discussed by a bunch of folks.  Many of those ideas posted there are often shared on this website.  Early on, I realized it just made good sense to allow some of those who contribute the most to those discussions and really get the concept to become contributors to the site.  This was the genesis of the TVCU Crew, originally ...

Coming Soon: TELEVISION CROSSOVER UNIVERSE: WORLDS AND MYTHOLOGY VOLUME I

I'm doing the final edits for TELEVISION CROSSOVER UNIVERSE: WORLDS AND MYTHOLOGY VOLUME I. Thanks to  Ivan Ronald Schablotski ,  Toby O'Brien  and  James Bojaciuk  for making notes for me. I'm in the process of shopping for someone to design a new logo for the TELEVISION CROSSOVER UNIVERSE and SUPER ENTERTAINMENT. So far, both designers I've contacted have not responded to my inquiries, which is pretty frustrating. Both designers were referred to me, too, which makes it even more  frustrating. I have too high of standards for those who claim to be professional, I suppose.  Christofer Nigro  is writing the foreword for this volume. The book should be ready for publication in 30 days. It will feature an introduction to the TVCU, three chronologies (FLINTSTONES FOREVER: THE BEDROCK ANOMALY, THE DOCTOR WHO UNIVERSE, and A LEAGUE OF THEIR OWN: CRISIS OF THE SUPER FRIENDS). And as a bonus, there will be a history of Super Comics, the Wronskiverse, and ...

THE FIRST EVER TELEVISION CROSSOVER WEBSITE CROSSOVER EVENT

At various times today, in honor of the holiday, members of the TVCU Crew will be posting blogs in which the subject is the author (or is the author the subject?). The blogs are about the individual crew member's TVCU counterpart, and their crossovers.  (Incidentally, mine may be late, because Blogger won't load my saved draft.) Additionally, Toby O'Brien is participating as well.  Over at Toobworld Central, he will be posting the biography of his counterpart on Earth-Prime Time and how he fits into the Toobworld Dynamic. You can read his post on the Inner Toob website . Note that all of these April 1 posts are apocryphal, but it was really fun.

TVCU CREW VIEW MARCH 21, 2014

Image
Well, the last one was popular enough that I guess I need to do another.  Here's what's current and relevant among us who obsess about TV crossovers this week: Doing these TVCU Crew View posts the past few months have made a big difference. We have had roughly a 1,000 more views per month since we starting doing them. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Here's a recent TVCU relevant "Lost Issue".   You can see all the Lost Issues at its own website.  A link is located below on the right hand side of this page. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ On March 9, Ivan  made this observation:   Anyone else catch tonight's ONCE UPON A TIME? It is set 1 YEAR after the events of the mid-season finale, which means the show hasn't been in real-time. ----------------------------------------------------...
