Television Crossover Universe

I haven't read it yet, but the TVCU Crew has informed me of some revelations from the comic book tie in to Crisis. One that's a problem is that they identify Earth-76 as the home of Wonder Woman'77 and Earth-78 as the home of the Christopher Reeves movies.  This negates some crossovers involving the Wonder Woman'77 comic and Batman'66 comic and I think that's a huge mistake on DC's part.  Especially since they included Smallville season 11 as canon. They also included Super Friends, Earth-N52, and Earth-D, which aren't problems but are cool enough to mention. They didn't seem to give Super Friends an Earth designation, which would have been useful to me for my Scooby-Doo Team-Up post. Also mentioned is Earth-F, the home of the animated Fleischer Studios shorts, which I have previously devoted an entire blog post too, so it's nice to be able to name that Earth now. I'm back on Facebook.  The Facebook group never left and of course remained active thanks to the TVCU Crew, but it's great to be able to reconnect to the Facebook group.  Twitter just wasn't cutting it.  You can join the Facebook discussion by clicking here.

So now that we've established a new forum on Google Plus, they've announced they are going away at the beginning of April  So we now have a twitter account and a new TVCU e-mail. Follow us, and please keep sharing your crossover finds with us.  The TVCU Crew is a team effort.

The forgotten Crewsie. At the same time that Matt Hickman had joined the Crew, I had also extended an invitation to John D. Lindsey Jr. John  has been one of my most valuable resources, not only for the Television Crossover Universe, but more specifically for the Horror Crossover Encyclopedia.  Those who are familiar with this website or our discussion forum are likely family with John's contributions. So when I invited him to become a website contributor, he accepted, but due to technical difficulties, he wasn't able to actually become a contributor to the site.  He did however continue to be one of my top research resources. Not many people know, but John was also invited to co-host the first episode of the Television Crossover Universe Podcast, when Ivan couldn't make it.  Our first guest was Simon R. We now move from the website contributors to the podcast hosts. When the Television Crossover Universe podcast was launched, the three original three co-hosts were all website contributors.  Thus, the show was hosted by the TVCU Crew.  Not longer after, Chris Nigro became the first co-host to have never contributed the the website, and thus the definition of TVCU Crew membership was expanded. Chris Nigro has been a regular in our discussion forum, and runs several of his own discussion groups and websites.  Chris was a guest on our show and a guest co-host shortly after, and people liked him, and we liked him, so he became a regular. Chris has also written the foreword for Television Crossover Universe:  Worlds and Mythology Volume I .
