Television Crossover Universe

 I previously did the Flintstones in my Bongo/Offspring of Zed post, a long time ago, but it wasn't really a Flintstones post.   I was thinking it would be cool to look at the actual timeline of the Flintstones, which breaks down into a few time periods.   Note that the timeline of Bedrock is about 10,000 B.C.  Originally it was one million B.C. but in recent years it's been retconned to 10,000 B.C.  We're going to break down the timeline based on the ages of the characters as depicted in different periods, rather than doing a year by year breakdown. Cave Kids (Not Canon) Cave Kids (1996)--Fred and Barney as pre-schoolers.  This also features Dino, contradicting the original Flintstones series.  This may be in canon with Flinstone Kids but it is not canon with the original series.   Flintstone Kids (Not Canon) The Flintstone Kids (1986 - 1988)--Fred, Barney, Wilma and Betty as little kids.  This show kind of contradicts a story...

What's a quickie?   See this blog. Today I'm going to talk about cartoons.  I won't be discussing a particular cartoon, but cartoons in general, and how they fit into TVCM canon.  The great thing about quickies is I don't always have to be tied down to the chronology format and thus can cover broader subjects from time to time. I love cartoons.  I never grew out of them, and I feel based on the varying levels of content in cartoons, most adults who write cartoons never grew out of them either. The current standard for cartoons has connected them in canon to three realities:  the TVCU, the Looniverse, and the Bongo Universe/Anomaly.  This depended mostly on the six degrees rules.  Could the animated series or film be connected more easily to one reality or the other based on crossover evidence?
