The All-Star Squadron has a crossover with Indiana Jones and Metropolis, thus it is in, and then that brings in the Batman serials. Note that even though the All-Stars were in, their existence was secret. These heroes operated more in line like other TV heroes as seen in shows like HEROES, GREATEST AMERICAN HERO, SIX MILLION DOLLAR MAN, BIONIC WOMAN, CHARMED, BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER, SUPERNATURAL, etc.

The Story: The heroic Nyctalope is in California teaming with Professor Quatermass against the evil Agent Lord.
Notes: There are appearances of characters from Behemoth the Sea Monster, the Magnetic Monster, Kolchak the Night Stalker, Big Bad John, and the Beast from 20,000 Fathoms. Behemoth the Sea Monster is a 1959 monster film. The Magnetic Monster is a 1953 monster movie. Kolchak the Night Stalker is a 1970s television series about a reporter who investigates the unknown, particularly the supernatural. The Beast from 20,000 Fathoms is another 1953 giant sea monster movie. Agent Lord is intended to be the time travelling Time Lord villain called the Master from the sci-fi series Doctor Who, using an alias. He refers to events from the future, from the Andromeda Strain, Night of the Living Dead, Phantoms, and Stephen King’s Desperation. He also refers to the Shoggoth from Lovecraft’s Cthulhu Mythos. The Nyctalope is of course the French vigilante from the early 20th century. Quatermass is the main character from the British television series of the same name. Big Bad John is the main character from the song of the same name from country singer Jimmy Dean. The OSI (Office of Scientific Investigation) is mentioned here, which is in the Magnetic Monster, but also from the novel Cyborg, which became the basis for the television series Six Million Dollar Man and the spin-off Bionic Woman. All of the above mentioned series, books, and films are all shown to co-exist in the Horror Universe, though of course only the horror crosses can be used to link and bring in further crossovers. 1966--MONSTAAH--From their website: California. That same year, James and Anna Summers are killed in what is reported as a car accident. However, an agent of L.O.A.D with the knowledge that James was a member of the Van Helsing family investigated the corpses and found the unmistakable marks of a vampire's fangs. Their daughter Jaime was in the automobile with them, but it appears that whoever attacked them used some form of mesmerism to completely suppress all memory of the traumatic incident from Jaime's mind. This induced amnesia appears to have tragically removed her memories of the existence of her younger brother Hank (who thankfully was at the Summers' Ojai, CA residence with a sitter at the time). In order to protect the children, the Van Helsing family decided that keeping them separated might insure their safety, and thus sent Jaime to live with Jim and Helen Elgin, friends of her parents. The location of where Hank Summers was sent is still a secret. Jaime and Hank's existence were also kept from each other, using drastic measures such as changing the spelling of Jaime's last from Summers to 'Sommers.' James Sherrard has a complete dossier updating Jaime Sommers' life after this tragedy. As the events surrounding James and Anna Summers' death, and the fact that Jaime has a younger sibling, are top secret and unknown even to her, it's no surprise that Mr. Sherrard's file does not reflect our information. 1969--THE NAME OF THE GAME--"Love-In at Ground Zero"--An O'Bservation from Toobworld's Toby O'Brien: After giving publisher Glenn Howard a tour of the test site where a new chemical weapon will be detonated, Colonel Malcolm Parker returned to his office on the base. As he settled himself at his desk, the Colonel told his aide to get Colonel Austin on the phone. That was in 1969. When we met Steve Austin, 'The Six Million Dollar Man' five years later, he was already a colonel who had served in Vietnam and had been the first civilian to walk on the moon. If he already was a colonel by 1969, it must have been under special circumstances - he was just thirty years old at that point. It could have been due to extraordinary services in a combat situation while in country, or it was bestowed upon him after his lunar mission. (Austin would be one of those astronauts who took part in the secret missions that were never revealed to the public, many of which were geared toward establishing the colony on the Moon.) As to why he was at that test site outside Las Vegas in January 1969? Who knows? Just one of those background stories which will never be told, I guess..... The Story: Mystery, Inc. works with the Harlem Globetrotters when on a ship with pirate ghosts.
Notes: The Harlem Globetrotters was a real basketball team famous for entertaining but not legal basketball tricks. However, they later got their own animated series, and I consider this a cross with that series. Weirdly, both the Globetrotters and the Stooges, who also met Mystery, Inc., would both end up becoming super-heroes with bionic parts. The pirate ghosts (or ghost pirates) would later reappear on the South Park episode Korn’s Groovy Pirate Ghost Mystery. Because of South Park’s solid connection to Lovecraft’s Cthulhu Mythos, I definitely count this crossover. In general, South Park has very few parody crossovers featuring fictional characters (unlike Family Guy). They mostly poke fun at real celebrities. That strengthens my resolve in considering the crossover valid.

There he runs into Soviet Agent Alexi Kaslov and his lovely assistant Katrina Volana, who also happen to be out to find Findletter. Is it a coincidence, or was Steve's trip all part of one of Oscar Goldman's missions?

The Story: Gary Seven is a human agent of aliens with an interest in protecting Earth from itself and Roberta Lincoln is his human assistant. A secret project has been created to engineer supermen. One particular product, Khan Noonien Singh, rises above the rest, and makes an attempt at world conquest.
Notes: Gary Seven and Khan were both introduced in separate episodes of Star Trek, both having originated in the 20th century. Gary Seven’s appearance was meant to be a pilot for his own series which sadly never came to be. Khan was said to have conquered a quarter of the planet by the 1990s in the Eugenics Wars, an event that eventually of course never came to pass in the real world, so this is a wonderful story reconciling how it could have still happened without drastically altering the real world timeline from Star Trek’s history of our time period. In the story, Roberta refers to an encounter with robot housewives in Connecticut, a reference to the events of the Stepford Wives. One of the workers at the Eugenics Project is a sallow bug-eyed man called Mr. Eyegor. This is the same Igor (pronounced Eyegor) from Young Frankenstein. Another worker is Maggie Erickson, engaged to a man named Walsh, which means eventually she would take his name and become Maggie Walsh. In Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Maggie Walsh is the head of a project that creates super soldiers to capture demons, which she uses to create her ultimate super-soldier, Adam. There is also a reference to Frankenstein, as in the original version. Other crossovers in the book bring in the above mentioned non-horror crosses. One final issue to bring up is regarding future stories. There are several stories linked to the Horror Universe that take place in the future. Doctor Who is in and this story brings in Star Trek. Alien is another linked future. Plus, there are plenty of others. But DW, ST, and Alien are the main three. And they are all pretty different in portraying how events of the future unfold. (Most of the other stories can easily fit in one of those main three timelines). I like to think of a timeline as one in which at any point, there is always a now. Looking backwards, there’s only one history. But looking forward, there is an infinite number of possibilities and thus an infinite number of future timelines, all that branch off of the present day Horror Universe.

1975--CYBORG IV--Steve Austin's consciousness is hooked up to a next generation spacecraft, creating a new form of union between man and machine. Meanwhile, an enemy force plans to use similar technology for their own ends.
September 1975--THE STRANGE CASE OF THE END OF CIVILIZATION AS WE KNOW IT--The grandson of the world's first and foremost consulting detective and his bumbling, bionic sidekick attempt to catch the only living descendant of Professor Moriarty. An essential for all crossover scholars. Sherlock Holmes' grandson, played by John Cleese, throws a party and invites Lt. Columbo, Sam Spade, James Bond (only M shows up), McCloud, Hercule Poirot, Steve McGarrett of Hawaii 5-0, Ironside, and "Kojak" (really Holmes Jr. in disguise). They can be seen from 36:00-41:45, being murdered by Moriarty (in disguise as Watson). For honorary mention, a Henry Kissinger-alike named Gropinger is murdered at the beginning of the film.
February 1976--SIX MILLION DOLLAR MAN--"The Golden Pharaoh"--Caeric Arclight: For a long time I've thought that Trish Hollander, the character played by Farrah Fawcett in THE SIX MILLION DOLLAR MAN episode "The Golden Pharaoh" was actually Jill Monroe on a case. Steve even referred to her as an angel. Then I came across this scene from the CHARLIE'S ANGELS episode "Angels on the Air."
May 1976--THE BIONIC WOMAN--"The Ghost Hunter"--Parts of this episode were shot in the Rampart Hospital Set of Emergency! In this same episode, Jamie is at a graveyard where there is a marker seen in Wagon Train episode "The Estaban Zamora Story".
November 1976--SIX MILLION DOLLAR MAN--"Vulture of the Andes"--San Lorenzo is a fictional country that appears in this episode, and then later in three separate episodes of LEVERAGE.

January 30, 1978--An O'Bservation from our friend from Toobworld, Toby O'Brien: Steve Austin had to reverse the polarity of the neutron flow from a satellite which was powered by a neutron core. This caused the mutated aliens to change back to their normal appearance and personalities.
Reversing the polarity of the neutron flow was something the Third Incarnation of the Time Lord known as the Doctor did all the time.....

The Story: A man with psychic powers and his daughter with pyrokinesis are abducted by the Shop.
Notes: The Shop is a recurring top secret government organization within the works of King. It also appears in the television mini-series the Golden Years, the film version of the Lawnmower Man, and the novel The Tommyknockers. It’s also been hinted in the Mist that the shop may be responsible for the events that occur there. The Shop is also mentioned in the film version of the Langoliers. In the alternate timeline of the Stand, the Shop is trying to stop the super flu outbreak. This story was adapted to screen in 1984. While the story is in the Horror Universe/TVCU, the 1984 film is in the Cineverse. This film has a sequel, FIRESTARTER 2: REKINDLED. The 1984 film has references to Fahrenheit 451, which are not valid crossovers. The film has also been referenced numerous times, including in There's Nothing Out There, Pyrates, and Wilder Napalm, which are not valid crossovers. However, it has also been referenced in The Lawnmower Man and Christine, and those are valid crossovers within the Cineverse. It was also spoofed many times, including in South Park: Bigger Longer & Uncut and Saturday Night Live. The Office of Scientific Intelligence is the name of the government organization in the 1984 film Firestarter. In this film, the OSI attempts to control a girl, played by Drew Barrymore, who has the power of pyrokenesis.
1984--METAL GEAR SOLID V: THE PHANTOM PAIN--Everytime Venom Snake uses his bionic arm to bio detect (sonar),you can hear the mechanical sound that was heard whenever Steve Austin used his bionic legs to run or jump.
January 1985--NIGHT COURT--"The Gypsy"--Alan Oppenheimer, possibly best known as the second Dr. Rudy Wells from THE SIX MILLION DOLLAR MAN, appeared in a second season episode of NIGHT COURT as a doctor. Judge Stone referred to him as "Dr. Fine" but then questioned if that was even his real name, an obvious clue that it was really Rudy.
1987--THE RETURN OF THE SIX MILLION DOLLAR MAN AND THE BIONIC WOMAN--The reunion films addressed the partial amnesia Sommers had suffered during the original series. All three featured Majors' son, Lee Majors II, as OSI agent Jim Castillian. The first two movies were written in the anticipation of creating new bionic characters in their own series, but nothing further was seen of the new characters introduced in those produced.

The Story: Several short stories featuring numerous Cartoon Network characters, original and acquired, in various shared reality segments.
Notes: Since its inception, Cartoon Network has run numerous promos that featured it’s original characters and acquired properties in original short segments that demonstrate that everything seen on Cartoon Network, original or reruns from other networks, takes place in the same shared reality. Most of the segments take place at the Cartoon Network studios, or the town the studio is set in, which seems to be Townsville from the Powerpuff Girls. I conjecture that Townsville is nearby Los Angeles and Toontown. However, there is evidence elsewhere, in Phineas and Ferb, that Townsville is part of the same Tri-State Area as Dansville from Phineas and Ferb. There are several areas in the United States that are known as the Tri-State area, and California is not in any known “tri-state area”. Note that some of the series above are not part of the main Cartoon Universe. Also, some of these series exist in the past for future. Clearly Cartoon Network has access to travel between time and alternate realities.

The Story: Lisa leads a protest when she believes her favorite toy is sexist.
Notes: Lisa is a fan of Malibu Stacy, which is inspired by the real life Barbie dolls. Within the show, particularly this episode, the Malibu Stacy doll is inspired by the company’s owner, the real Malibu Stacy. Stacy references that she had previously dated Joe Colton and Steve Austion. Joe Colton was the name of the original character from the first G.I. Joe toy line. His character was incorporated into the Marvel Comics version of G.I. Joe, but was never shown in the cartoon. He did appear in the second G.I. Joe live action film, played by Bruce Willis. His mention here implies that he must have a counterpart within the Cartoon Universe, who was the inspiration for the toyline. Steve Austin first appeared in the novel Cyborg, but was better known for the television series that was inspired by the novel, the Six Million Dollar Man. This series also inspired a very popular action figure in the 1970s. The reference here is that Steve Austin also had a real counterpart in the Cartoon Universe, which inspired the show.

January 1997 “The Return of Megaman” TEAM KNIGHT RIDER –Former Megaman Ken Savage comes out of retirement to defuse a time bomb 5XE. There is a reference to his former partner Summer James. There is also a reference to the three branches of FLAG, The Knight Rider project, The Megaman Project and The A-Team project. (aired January 1998). There is no details about the A-Team project but at the end of the final episode of The A-TEAM it is hinted that the team are about to be pardoned and they plan to continue helping people. It seems likely that they started work for FLAG. Given the bionic abilities of Ken Savage and the similarity of the name Summer James to Jamie
Summers, it seems likely that there is some connection between FLAG and the OSI (THE SIX MILLION DOLLAR MAN and THE BIONIC WOMAN)

The Story: Peter and Lois compete when both decide to run for the school board.
Notes: Animated Series Crosses: After winning the election, he has the Schoolhouse Rock characters teaching sex education at Chris’ school. Other Crosses: Peter gives Chris a stack of Playpen Magazines, a dirty magazine take off of Playboy and Penthouse. Playpen Magazine is used often within television shows, in order to avoid infringement issues. Because it is a fictional company, it can be used as a crossover connector. The list above is probably not a complete list of appearances of the faux magazine. It is presumed That Girl is the first appearance of this magazine, but since the above list may not be complete, that series cannot be confirmed as the debut of the brand. Note that Family Guy is the only animated show to use the magazine. The cross brings all of those live action shows into the Cartoon Universe. Peter replaces the school hall monitors with the XLK robot from Robocop. Either Peter somehow got engineers to create a real working duplicate of the fictional robot from the futuristic film, somehow obtained the robot from the near future, or perhaps in the Cartoon Universe, the events of Robocop happened in the 1980s. Any of those could be plausible, given the nature of how time works in the Cartoon Universe, and how live action events are reinterpreted in their Cartoon Universe counterparts. Cutaway Crosses: After Peter references the Six Million Dollar Man, a cutaway shows Peter as Steve Austin, if Oscar Goldman had chosen to create a bionic cyborg on a tighter budget.

March 12, 2002--BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER--”Normal Again”--In this episode, Buffy Summers is attacked by a demonic spell that makes her awake in another timeline in which her life as a slayer was a psychotic delusion, and Buffy had been locked in a psych ward since 1996. In the end, Buffy chooses her slayer life is the real world. Years later, when Joss Whedon wrote Astonishing X-Men, he tried to get into the comic that Scott “Cyclops” Summers had a cousin in a mental hospital who believed she was a vampire slayer. This was meant to imply that the Buffyverse was indeed a delusion inside the mind of the “real” Buffy Summers of the Marvel Universe. However, for the TVCU, we can look at this differently. In “Normal Again”, Buffy revealed to her friends that after she killed her first vampires, she went home and told her parents, and they did commit her to a psych ward for a short period, which taught her that she needed to lie and hide her slayer lifestyle. So it is possible that Buffy could be related to Scott Summers in the TVCU, with Scott being the mutant hero Cyclops and Buffy being a slayer. When he refers to his cousin who was committed for thinking she killed vampires, that was true, but it doesn’t mean she is still in the hospital. Also, since Scott Summers was a teen in the TVCU back in the 1960s, it’s unlikely that Scott and Buffy are first cousins. They are probably more distant cousins. At this point, I should also mention that the TVCU accepts the proposal of MONSTAAH that Jamie Sommers is the sister of Hank Summers, Buffy’s dad. Jamie Sommers is the Bionic Woman. Finally, though the X-Men do exist in the TVCU, their activities as heroes were likely not as frequent. Xavier had a school for “gifted students”, some of whom would sometimes go into action to protect mankind from mutant terrorists. There is also another group that exists in the TVCU called the Legion of the Strange. Some of the X-Men stories of the comics instead happened to the Legion of the Strange within the TVCU continuity.

August 2004--VENTURE BROS.--"Home Insecurity"--In the woods, Brock meets Col. Steve Summers (spoof of Steve Austin, the 6Million Dollar Man), a former astronaut who was rebuilt after a crash with a bionic body and abilities like Austin's.
2008--APR - Ivan and Janos tour the Cyberdyne facility in Kingsport MA. Among the robotics displays in the facility were a T-800 cyborg from the future, a bionic dog created in the 1970s, and a talking car. Cyberdyne and the T-800 are from the film TERMINATOR. The bionic dog was Maximillian, from 1977 episodes of THE BIONIC WOMAN season 3. The talking car is the Knight Industries Two-Thousand, or K.I.T.T., from the 1982 TV series KNIGHT RIDER. Kingsport MA is a location from Lovecraft's short story "The Terrible Old Man" (1921).

alien cyberware Ivan encountered. Field Agents Summers and Austin demonstrate that the technology is more advanced than what they use in their own bionic enhancements, despite being aesthetically inferior. Robotics experts accept the few samples Ivan retained for study, with the promise that these components will not be directly introduced into any new hardware, and that Ivan's name will be kept out of all official reports, to prevent the Ordnance from considering him to be a "person of interest". An analysis of Ivan's Ghostbusting equipment is also conducted with the goal of determining effective adaptations to it for handling advanced alien technology. One proposed project involves the OSI creating integrated battlesuits with weaponry capable of taking on extraterrestrial ans well as extradimensional threats, and a discussion is had suggesting the experimental cybernetic ghostbusting gear be tested in a Springfield-based Ghostbusters franchise, The OSI (Office of Scientific Intelligence), Jamie Summers, and Steve Austin are from the television shows THE SIX MILLION DOLLAR MAN (1973-1978) and THE BIONIC WOMAN(1976-1978), both adapted from the 1972 novel CYBORG and its sequels. Ghostbusters and related concepts are from the 1984 movie GHOSTBUSTERS.
